The village of Truskavna is located in one of the most interesting and beautiful areas of Bohemia, which attracts crowds of visitors every year because of its romantic atmosphere. Sandstone rocks and extensive forests spread over a surface area of many square kilometers represent a grand environment for people as well as for animals.
The Kokořín area forms a net of smaller and larger sandstone rock-lined valleys with various rock formations. So the resulting plateaus can be relatively highly situated above the valley bottom. Continuing selective efflorescence creates interesting formations on the rock walls and towers, e.g. gates, windows, lids, ledges or honeycombs.
